Adventures in Languages offers group and/or individual foreign language and culture classes in our classroom space, as well as classes on-site. Our curriculum can be modified to include profession-specific vocabulary, teaching just what a person needs to know to do their job. We can also provide English as a Second Language (ESL – ELL) classes for employees at the worksite.

Our conversational language classes are specially designed to have people using the language as quickly and as effectively as possible. Students do active exercises and drills until they fully learn the necessary words and phrases.

“I loved working with you... and that you were open to questions. I also loved that you work on pronunciation -- that is something I can’t get in a classroom.”

Our classes follow a functional-communications approach, with an emphasis on discussion of everyday activities. This teaching method facilitates practical usage and encourages the habit of thinking in your new language from the beginning. The meaning of words is conveyed through pictures, drawings, and real objects, as well as hands-on activities that involve the five senses in the learning process.
